Paul grew up in the remote outback of Western Australia. It’s a place of vast horizons, blistering heat, devastating cyclones, and spectacular starry nights. Fertile ground for imagination. Over the years highlights have included being chased by a furious rhino in Nepal, getting washed out to sea in a badly parked car, and having his musical open the New York Musical Festival in 2019.

Paul has worked in and around film, television, and theatre since 1995 and released his first novel in 2012. Since that time, he’s written in a range of genres.
